ABOUT THE MARKET

Born to a farming family, my love for agriculture began early. Between having pivots for sprinklers, big potato piles to use as sledding hills (until we got caught, of course), and lots of odds and ends we could always convince someone to weld together for us, who could ask for a better way to grow up!
In 1987, my family branched out from raising potatoes, beans, and wheat, to grow fresh produce to sell at their new farm market, the Country Harvest. The Country Harvest also included a bakery and ice cream shop, and was definitely the icing on the cake to a fun childhood. After several years in business, Anderson & Girls Orchards took over operations for a short time, until the building (now USA Trailers) was sold.
The great memories of the market never left me and I am proud to revive the Country Harvest name!
